Friends of Indian Art- Museum Support Group
For over 22 years FIA has been providing members with greater insight into the art, culture, and history of Native American people through its exciting educational program series. Our events are held in a variety of interesting venues including galleries, sculpture gardens, artist's homes and studios, collector's homes and at the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture [MIAC].

Friends of Indian Art membership dues are also used to help underwrite special on-going MIAC exhibitions and the purchase of works of art for the permanent collection. Recently, FIA in concert with MIAC’s Executive Director and curators purchased works of art appearing in the David Bradley “Indian Country” Exhibition as well as in the up-coming Lloyd Kiva New and Glass sculpture exhibitions. We are also proud to announce a monetary contribution in 2015 to assist in the total renovation and revitalization of MIAC’s permanent core exhibition, “Here Now and Always."
Since its inception, FIA has purchased over 50 selected pieces of Native American works of art and contributed nearly a quarter of a million dollars to the museum. We could not do all that we do without the continued support of our members. Thank you to past, present and future members who continue to support the Friends of Indian Art's mission.
