1957--------All Indian Rodeo Cowboys Association
-The first organized Indian Rodeo Association

1975--------Navajo Nation Rodeo Cowboys Association
-The Eastern Navajo Rodeo Association was formed for the New Mexico side of the Navajo Nation

1976--------Indian National Finals Rodeo formed (INFR)
-Organized to form a National Finals to celebrate the traditions and cultures of Native Americans
across the United States and Canada.
-First INFR was held in Salt Lake City - Had 8 commissioners
