Yearning for the Past
Nostalgia for artifacts symbolizing Route 66, and for life along the road in Mimbres Design Mug general, has encouraged the development of modern replicas.

Mass marketing retailers created new products based on the memory for Mom-and-Pop diners, service stations, and motels. Through these efforts, the past along Route 66 lives on in a new generation of T-shirts, coffee mugs, and trinkets that allude to a simpler time.
